Description: Human interleukin-10 (IL-10), also known as cytokine synthesis inhibitory factor (CSIF), is a type II cytokine mainly expressed by monocytes. IL-10 protein is composed of two homodimers, each monomer consists of 178 amino acids. IL-10 has a variety of specific functions, including immune regulation and inflammation, and it also exhibits inhibitory effects on tumor cell metastasis. IL-10 functions by binding to its receptor.
