Catalog#: P10001
Description: Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-Cov-2), formerly known as the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCov), is a positive-sense single-stranded RNA virus. It is contagious in humans and is the cause of coronavirus disease 2019. The nucleocapsid Protein (N-protein) is the most abundant protein in coronavirus. The N-protein is a highly immunogenic phosphoprotein, and it is normally very conserved. The N protein of coronavirus is often used as a marker in diagnostic assays.
Expression system |
E.Coli |
Application |
Antigen for immunodetection |
Analysis |
Purity > 95 % by SDS-PAGE. Immunoreactivity of recombinant 2019_nCoV/NP is checked in sandwich immunoassay with specific monoclonal antibodies and positive antisera. |
