Description: Newcastle Disease Virus (NDV) is an enveloped, single-stranded RNA virus with a size of approximately 100-400nm. The mature virus particles are pleomorphic, including round, oval, and long rod-shaped. The envelope is a bilayered structure derived from the lipids of the host cell membrane and the viral glycoproteins. The envelope surface has long spikes measuring 12-15nm, which are composed of hemagglutinin, neuraminidase, and lysin. Monoclonal antibodies targeting F protein can serve as important tools for antigen analysis, rapid diagnosis, scientific research, etc.
