Description: Influenza is an acute respiratory infection. Influenza A pdm/2009H1N1 virus is different from previous seasonal influenza viruses. The virus contains gene fragments from three influenza viruses: swine influenza, avian influenza and human influenza. Since the beginning of 2009, the A (H1N1) virus has been a large-scale epidemic in the world, and the number of people who have died from the A (H1N1) flu has exceeded 5,000. HA(hemagglutinin) is an antigenic glycoprotein on the surface of the H1N1 virus responsible for linking the virus to receptors on the surface of infected cells. Monoclonal antibodies with hemagglutination inhibiting HI activity can be used for accurate analysis of antigenic variation of viruses.
