Anti Monkeypox Virus (MPXV-A35R) Antibody
Description: Monkeypox virus (MPXV) is a double-stranded DNA virus of the Orthopoxvirus genus of the family Poxviridae.Two genetic clades of the monkeypox virus have been characterized: West African and Central African. MPXV is one of the 4 orthopoxvirus species pathogenic for humans, the other 3 being variola major virus (VARV), the causative agent of smallpox, now eradicated, variola minor virus, and cowpox virus (CPXV). A35R can be used in a simple heat-inactivated serological enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the identification of recent MPXV infection.
