Description: Influenza virus is a major viral respiratory pathogen that causes yearly epidemics in temperate climates. The H3N2 subtype is one of the major causative agents of severe epidemics and plays a critical role in vaccine development. The neuraminidase (NA) inhibitors oseltamivir and zanamivir are two commercially available NA-targeted competitive antiviral drugs. NA (neuraminidase) is the main surface glycoprotein of influenza virus, which is responsible for cutting HA protein during viral budding and binding to host cell receptors, allowing mature viral particles to be released and infect other cells. The humoral immunity produced by the host against NA generally has NA enzymatic activity inhibition activity, and such monoclonal antibodies and polyclonal antibodies can be used for accurate analysis of antigen variation of the virus.
