Description: The H9N2 subtype influenza A virus is globally distributed and can be transmitted to humans and mammals. Large numbers of H9 subtype influenza A viruses have been isolated from chickens in recent years. Clinically, infected chickens often show decreased egg production in laying hens, delayed growth of broilers, and even death, causing significant economic losses to the poultry industry. In addition, this virus has the ability to directly infect humans or provide internal genes for highly pathogenic avian influenza viruses such as H5N1 and new H7N9 subtype avian influenza viruses, thus posing a serious threat to public health safety. Monoclonal antibodies with HI activity can provide accurate analysis of antigen variation in the virus.
