Description: BAFFR (B cell activator receptor), also known as tnfrsf13c, bromix, CD268, cvid4 and prolixin, is a membrane protein receptor encoded by tnfrsf13c gene, which mainly plays a role in the proliferation and differentiation of B cells. BAFFR plays an important role in a variety of autoimmune diseases, including systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), multiple sclerosis (MS), IgA nephropathy, SJ ö gren's syndrome and rheumatoid arthritis. In these diseases, the concentration level of BAFF increases, which promotes the abnormal proliferation of B cells and the production of autoantibodies, leading to tissue damage.
