Description: Severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome virus (SFTSV) is a newly identified phlebovirus associated with severe hemorrhagic fever in humans. Nucleoprotein NP is its main structure. SFTSV is a tick-borne phlebovirus belonging to the genus Phlebovirus in the family Phenuiviridae (order Bunyavirales). The nucleoprotein (NP) in the reverse direction protecting the genomic RNA from degradation by exogenous nucleases or the immune systems in the host cells and play a crucial role in the replication of SFTSV.
