Cluster of differentiation 30 (CD30), also known as (TNFRSF8), is a membrane protein. The CD30 protein is expressed by activated, but not resting, T cells and B cells. CD30 may play a role in the regulation of cell growth and activation of lymphoblastoid transformation, and may also be important in human immunodeficiency virus replication.
