Description: HEK293 is epithelial cell like, adherent growth, tumorigenic in nude mice. It is a sub triploid human cell line. The chromosome number of 30% of cells is 64, and the cell rate of higher ploidy is 4.2%. HEK293 is widely used in various experiments and production because it can produce high-level proteins that are most similar to human naturally synthesized proteins, as well as reproduce rapidly.
CD40 is a member of the TNF receptor superfamily which are single transmembrane-spanning glycoproteinsis also known as TNFRSF5, Bp50, and p50. It's plays an essential role in mediating a broad variety of immune and inflammatory responses including T cell-dependent immunoglobulin class switching, memory B cell development, and germinal center formation. CD40 is a costimulatory protein found on antigen presenting cells and is required for their activation.
