Description: Rotaviruses cause neonatal diarrhea in mammals and avian species. Bovine rotavirus is the most recognized pathogen causing acute diarrhea in calves under one month of age worldwide. The major capsid antigen (VP6) of BRV is the most immunogenic viral protein and it is highly conserved among group A BRV.
