Description: FcgRIIB (CD32b) is a low affinity receptor in the Fc region of the immunoglobulin gamma complex, also known as FC γ RIIB or CD32b. It belongs to the FCγR family and is the only inhibitory receptor in this family. FcgRIIB (CD32b) binds IgG with low affinity, recognizes IgG aggregates around multivalent antigens, and transmits inhibitory signals through its ITIM motif, thereby inhibiting immune responses. It is the only inhibitory member of the FCγR family and overexpression of this target is associated with poor prognosis in refractory NHL.
