Anti Helicobacter Pylori NapA (H.pylori-NapA) Monoclonal Antibody
Anti Helicobacter Pylori NapA (H.pylori-NapA) Monoclonal Antibody
Clone HI574 Catalog#: A50574
Description: Helicobacter pylori NapA protein, also known as the Nucleoid-Associated Protein A, is a key protein of this bacterium, which is commonly found in the human stomach and is associated with the development of gastric diseases such as gastritis, peptic ulcers, and gastric cancer. NapA is a member of the bacterial nucleoid-associated protein family, which plays an important role in the organization and regulation of the bacterial chromosome. NapA is involved in several important processes related to the pathogenesis of gastric diseases caused by Helicobacter pylori. One of its main functions is to bind to the bacterial chromosome, helping to organize and stabilize the nucleoid structure. This organization is crucial for the regulation of gene expression and the maintenance of bacterial homeostasis. NapA has also been shown to have a role in the interaction between Helicobacter pylori and host cells. It can bind to and modulate the activity of host cell proteins, leading to the activation of signaling pathways that promote inflammation and the development of gastric diseases.
