Description: Canine respiratory coronavirus disease (CRCoV), belonging to type II coronaviruses, is different from type I canine enteric coronaviruses that cause diarrhea in dogs and mainly leads to acute respiratory symptoms in dogs. Since it was discovered in the UK in 2003, CRCoV has become globally distributed and is clinically characterized by infectious respiratory symptoms (CIRD). NP is the major nucleoprotein of canine respiratory coronavirus and can be used as an antigen detection target. Currently, there is no effective vaccine for this disease.
